In the modern, heavily commercialized sports world, you see endless ads for various companies and products. They sponsor the stadiums, are plastered on players' chests, and are displayed on ad boards all around the stadium. One of the companies that sticks out most to me, though, is Delta because it feels like they sponsor anything and everything. So what MLS teams do they sponsor?
Obviously, they sponsor Atlanta United, their local team, and there is no shortage of Delta stuff around the stadium including the Delta Sky360 terraces and the Delta Fly-Through lanes. The other teams with Delta Sky360 terraces/suites are NYCFC and Seattle, the latter of whom also have a partnership to donate one ball to kids for every mile the Sounders players run. That is actually it, though. Despite also sponsoring the NWSL and several of their teams, the US Olympic team, and several NFL, MLB, and NBA teams, Delta only sponsors 3 MLS teams now that their sponsorship with LAFC is over.
The most common sponsor was Adidas who sponsored everyone through being MLS's main sponsor, followed by Audi, Fanatics, and Chevron who all seemed to come up a lot. The three teams couldn't have been much farther away from each other, though. If you were to fly from Atlanta to Seattle to New York and then back to Atlanta, it would cost approximately 820 dollars in Basic Economy, take roughly 13 hours and 20 minutes in the air, and cover 5,357 miles.
